Operations technician for data center operations
We are looking for a dedicated operations technician for our data center operations department. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring sustainable and efficient operation of the data center, with particular emphasis on maintenance and collaboration with internal and external resources.
Qualifications
-
Minimum 3 years' experience with operating, troubleshooting, and handling of electrical equipment at an industrial level.

Experience with generator sets, UPS systems and cooling systems.
-
Knowledge of BMS and implementation of monitoring systems.
-
Handling of ticket systems, installations, maintenance and repairs.
-
Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing.
-
Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call arrangements.
-
Valid driver's license for standard vehicles with automatic transmission.
-
Vocational certificate as an electrician is an advantage.
Areas of responsibility

Team leader is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the data center infrastructure.

Maintain and update technical documentation and routines.

Plan and carry out maintenance and operation-related activities

Implement best practice and ensure optimal use of the data center's capacities.

Strengthen relationships with colleagues, external suppliers and customers.

Project manager for data center operations
We are looking for a dedicated project manager for our data center operations department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple data center projects in an engineering consulting environment.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience in project and/or program management and experience on large, engineering and/or construction projects.

Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of project professionals. This involves concurrently managing issues, scope, and quality, while bringing projects to successful completion within the cost and time requirements.

Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing.

Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
-
Strategic, conceptual analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
-
Experienced use of project management tools, BMS, planning and monitoring systems.
-
Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
-
Familiarity reading drawings and specifications.
-
Project or Program Management Professional certification(s) (i.e., PMP).
-
Experience in project planning, cost management and schedule management, and methods of analyzing and reporting project performance on financial and other KPIs.
Areas of responsibility

Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers and other staff through completion of multiple simultaneous projects, ranging from small to large with a wide range of complexities and requirements.

Independently prepare project work plans, proposals, and schedules, and obtain management/client approval.

Lead and initiate regular communications with clients regarding project status and project quality, and proactively resolve issues.

Manage relationships with project stakeholders. This includes internal and external clients and vendors, regulatory authorities and technical agencies. This involves keeping the stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables, and meet the project schedule.

Maintain awareness of project budget maintenance, key performance indicators, and forecasting.

Compile a comprehensive and realistic scope of work, and prepare a complete and accurate fee estimate, in a format suitable for obtaining the required management approvals.
